Many guys complain that they gain a few extra pounds of weight in winter season. But is it really true? Yes it is. This has been proved in many researches that men do gain a few extra pounds of weight in winter season. And it is mainly because of freezing temperatures. As men have to go outside for work, they have to maintain their body temperature, thus, they need to eat more in order to keep their body warm. And as harsh cold weather limits your outdoor activities to quite a great extent, thus, you burn less calories as compared to summer; which eventually leads to an increase in weight. And this is quite harmful for your health. Remember, you do need an effective diet plan for this winters to remain fit and healthy for a longer period of time. So here I am going to tell you about an effective diet plan which will help to remain healthy even in harsh winter season.

What not to eat? The most important question of all. The first and foremost thing you must do is to avoid junk food. Junk food contains un-necessary calories which increases fats in your adipose tissues and increases your weight. Cheese inВ  pizza, starch in your pasta, and macaronis and noodles like stuff is extremely harmful for your health. And even chocolates and candies, these are also among those foods which increases your weight dramatically. So don’t even dare to go to these things. On the other hand, avoid oily foods and those which contains saturated or even unsaturated fats. Because they do increase your weight. And last but not the least, don’t go towards sweets and candies. Do not use white bread and other baking products for a better health.

  • What to eat?

Now I am going to tell you what to eat in winters which will help you to maintain your body weight as well as your body heat and to remove hunger pangs in your stomach whenever you feel them. So this winters if you are planning to have a heavy lunch because you are feeling so much hungry then go for some bar b q or steamed chicken or fish. This steamed chicken or fish will fill your stomach at full and help you to stay warm as well. On the other hand white meat and specially if this is not cocked by frying but by steaming this will never increase your weight but keep you warm. Lamb meat is also good but contains calories. If you are deciding to have lunch of lamb steaks then boil them first which will remove almost fat from the meat. Go for vegetables which help your stomach to feel full and not allow your stomach to feel hungry as early. Vegetables regulate your digestive system and help to maintain your protein and vitamin level. Cabbage fills your stomach as well as helps your stomach to stay healthy. All these vegetable can be taken after cooking but in olive oil not in simple oil. Take sugar free coffee or tea if you need but its better to stay on green tea.
