The push strategy is no longer on board and marketers enjoy a pull strategy from the target segment and earn major revenue out of the skin care product portfolio. Despite that there is an entire range of men’s skin care products available across the globe. The skin consultants have reported men acquiring
advices for fair complexion and remedies to cope skin tanning and black heads. Self-image, reputation, marriage, prestige and supremacy are significant factors that are evident in diverse prototype of behavior in society. It also exposes the dark side of this billion dollar market; the human skin is a sensitive organ that needs to be nurtured and kept smooth.
The application of skin care products results in allergy, rashes, acne or even causes cancer. These products have chemical ingredients that create a distraction with the God’s natural phenomena and biological processes. The chemicals like hydroquinone and mercury that leaves a risk of disorder. You see I am not against men’s grooming especially when you have a plethora of products available in the market. All that I am focusing on is using low quality products and interfering with your natural body. You can always go for using some nice face washes and shampoos and body gels. But using low grade facial creams, dyes and whitening creams are not desired. If we talk about the grooming products of 14- 15 there are a couple of products that are worth buy i.e. a good shaving cream and after shave. It will save your face from going tan and allergies. Spending a few bucks on a good razor is always helpful. You can buy yourself a moisturizer only after
knowing your skin type. You see it’s about the type of skin that you have which matters. The products are fairly good if applied and used appropriately. Always ask your salon man to do the patch test before every facial and dye, not every person has the same tolerance level. Avoid using electrical razor machines they are not good for your skin in the long term.
No matter the time has progressed and you have a better range of grooming products available but you need to keep yourself safe from some third grade products. Remember that not every expensive product has good after effects. Keep yourself on the lookout for those products.
