Just like coffee lovers tea lovers are also found all over the world. There are many people who cannot go on the entire day without having a cup of tea. This drink is for all seasons and is liked by people of all age groups. However there are certain side effects of drinking tea daily. There are many types of tea available in the market and you can easily consume any type depending on your mood and choice. Black tea, green tea, jasmine tea, oolong tea, white tea etc. Black tea is quite popular in many parts of Europe and western world. Green tea is already popular in Asia and china but recently it has also gained popularity in western world due to its health advantages. White tea is quite expensive since it is especially prepared and is considered more beneficial than green tea.
Disadvantages of drinking tea daily:
If you will drink too much tea then you might develop inflammatory effects in your body. Tea also has tannic acid that can result in anemia and even iron deficiency. Drinking tea immediately after every meal can stimulate such kinds of diseases.
Drinking too much of a black tea can cause sleep deprivation and nervousness. Due to regular intake your body becomes habitual of it and when you do not drink, you may develop headaches and in certain conditions you can also have severe pain as well.
Green tea has caffeine that is not suitable for people with some kind of heart disease. Drinking too much of green tea can produce problems for people having some disease related to depression or hypertension. It affects nervous system so if you have any kind of anxiety disorder then you should consult your doctor before becoming habitual of drinking this tea.
Moreover, tea can also result in creating problems such as diarrhea; troubles for heart pumping or it can yield heart burning effects in our bodies. Irritability and even tremors are also experienced by over intake of this drink.
Tea can also affect our dental health and drinking too much can leave permanent marks on teethes which will destroy our beautiful smile. These stains are hard to remove unless you go through some medication so it is better to take precaution. You can also develop kidney and lung disease in extreme conditions. The oxalates in tea can affect our kidneys easily.
Many kinds of tea have a large amount of caffeine which has some disadvantages. Caffeine if taken regularly can produce such an affect that you feel psychologically dependent on it and your body yearns for it. It can even lead to stomach ulcers, fatigue, stress and acid reflux. This is due to the fact that our bodies cannot tolerate so much intake of caffeine in a single day. Drinking three to four cups a day is alright but if you drink somewhere between 14 to 16 cups a day than you sold rethink and change your habit.
Despite of being a tea lover you should intake it in moderation rather than developing serious problems for yourselves later in your life.
