“The true test of a man’s style is the haircut. There are some men who look good no matter how their hair is styled, whether it’s trendy or not. A man can change his haircut many times, but to pull off any haircut, you have to be very chic. Like Brad Pitt.”-Carine Roitfeld
Starting the article with that quote is quite a bold move but I like the sound of this quote. It makes me fathom that self confidence is the secret ingredient that makes your personality undeniably attractive its not true that only long or short haircut make an elegant man. Doesn’t matter as to what you wear, how your hair looks, what accessories you have worn or anything that relates to your appearance for that matter, only if you are confident about how you look, nobody would even dare point out faults in your personality. All you have to do is, have faith, be confident about yourself and you would feel as if you are on top of the world.
Short haircuts make an elegant man:
Having said enough, let us come to the topic in hand. Short haircuts certainly do make an elegant man; they build around you an aura of confidence and self satisfaction. The first thing you notice about someone when you look at them is their face. The role of a haircut is more like that of a frame on a picture. Your hair defines your face, complements the good things and helps you hide the things you don’t like much about your face. People having shorter haircuts are deemed to be more confident, social and outgoing which come in handy while meeting or hanging out with new people. Men with shorter hair are more often associated with self-centeredness.
Shorter haircuts include variations too. I’m going to list a few types among some and list some features about them. One of my favorite is ‘The Sean’ look. It basically has noticeably longer hair at the head while shorter on the sides. This look complements your face cut and people with longer jaw bones are advised to get this one. The next one in lineis ‘The Alistair’; this look involves volume, and texture. ‘The Nathaniel’ is about denser and fauxhawk on top while Mohawk with shorter and trimmed hair at the sides.
Similarly, you can find a variety of such looks you can choose from according to your face cut rather the haircuts that you personally like. Having a good haircut is not about copying someone else’s look; it’s about having your own haircut make you look attractive. Remember that your hair defines your personality.
“Hair and appearance are part of a total package for anyone looking to move forward in their career or in life, and should be considered as something you’d improve just like your resume,” says Lund blade. “This doesn’t mean looking like somebody else — it means looking like the best ‘you’ you can be.”
